I'm married with a daughter, 3-dogs, 11-donkeys, and 6-horses in the family. Working outdoors and personally building and repairing things is a passion, and when living on a Ranch you sure get plenty of opportunities to do both. I was born in NC and raised in the NE NC town of Murfreesboro. The USMC was calling even before graduating HS where I served from 1972-1976. I was a hand-to-hand combat instructor, weapons instructor, training instructor, Softball, Track and Volleyball player while serving. I also Instructed and marched with the USMC Fort McHenry Maryland Silent Drill Team. On leaving the USMC I went to work for the DoD/NSA where I worked CONUS and OCONUS locations spanning a 37+ year career. My hobbies are diverse and usually involve being outdoors  taking care of the ranch, helping neighbors, flying, shooting, fishing, and working with and teaching my daughter life skills. I founded SCIF Consultant to continue to serve my country, to build better facilities, and to ease the burdens of not knowing the "how to's" of building a SCIF and properly Shielding it to meet Accreditation standards.
